I am currently a joint doctoral student in Geography (SDSU/UCSB). I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2006 with a BA in Geography and American Indian Studies. Taking a break from Midwestern winters, I earned my Masters in Environmental Security and Peace at the United Nations Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. I also worked in Southern California as a GIS Technician with the Native American Environmental Protection Coalition. I am excited to combine my educational and travel experience to contribute towards golden monkey conservation and other research projects.
