Culture and Environment in Hanoi, Vietnam

San Diego State University’s (SDSU) Center for Asian and Pacific Studies, in cooperation with Vietnam National University (VNU), will offer six units of GE courses under AS 300 (Asia’s Global Future), ASIAN 459 (Modern Asian Cultures), ASIAN 458 (Asian Traditions) and ASIAN 499 (Special Study). The GE courses will be taught in English by both SDSU and VNU faculty.

This program is offered by the College of Extended Studies and the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies, and has the approval of San Diego State University and the Office of the Chancellor, California State University.

Pre-Departure Meeting

All accepted participants will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting.

During the meeting you will meet the other participants, enroll in your SDSU courses and have final questions answered about in-country aspects, customs and travel details. Health and safety, liability, and insurance requirements will also be covered.
