He has written over twenty peer-reviewed essays and articles, including an article for the Encyclopedia of Hinduism. He has also conducted countless academic presentations at campuses, conferences and community centers around the world. He continues to actively  participate in reputable conferences like the AAR (America Academy of Religion) Annual Conferences and DANAM (Dharma Association of North America)and has chaired panels like “Religion and Psychology” (at DANAM) and “In the Flesh: The Vernacular Tantric Traditions of India and Nepal” (at AAR). He also served as  the Western Region Chair of the Religions of Asia section of the AAR from 2006 to 2009.


He is currently in the process of publishing a third book, Language of Images: Visualization and Meaning in Tantra, which is a continuation to the exploration of Advaita Vedanta and Tantric philosophies from his first two books. His fields of interest include Vedic and Tantric traditions, Yogacara philosophy, literary theory, and ritual studies. In the future, he intends to continue teaching in the fields of Religious Studies and Indian Philosophy and hopes to begin work utilize his wide range of linguistic skills by translating ancient Sanskrit manuscripts in the near future.
