Dr. Timalsina's teaching style may be best described as fluid, dynamic, and confidently conducted. The most common response from his students is that they learned much, much more than the syllabus had prescribed because while Professor Timalsina more than adequately fulfills the role of a professor with a prepared syllabus and challenging coursework, he has a tendency to become more than just a teacher to his students. Rather, he becomes a friendly figure, an understanding and spirited adult with whom students can freely discuss their ideas and perspectives.

Dr. Timalsina truly considers teaching to be his primary calling in life and views his students as unique and intelligent individuals who not only have much to learn but much to teach in their own way as well. Therefore, instead of presenting bland lectures day after day, he attempts to engage his students by conducting interactive discussions. Completely committed to his cause, he is seen to be continuously trying to assist his students in reaching their goals and succeeding not only in classes but in other aspects of life as well.
During the fall semester of 2011-2012, Professor Timalsina will be teaching a variety of engaging courses at the Department of Religious Studies at San Diego State University. The courses will be listed in detail as the semester begins.

The SDSU Religious Studies Catalog (2009-2010) is available to be viewed. The 2011-2012 catalog will be posted as it becomes available.
