Bioinformatics Project: In this project, artificial neural networks are used for the reconstruction of the regulatory network that patterns the chordate nerve cord in Ascidians. Gene expression levels of the organism were recorded through a temporal microarray experiment throughout the development stage from embryo to a tadpole-like larva (an 18 hour process).

Mars Rover Project: In this project autonomous navigation and control of highly articulated rovers were developed. The picture shows an animation of the rover as its traverses over simulated rough Mars terrain. The animation embodies kinematics, terrain interaction, path following and control software, and allows observing different views during rover motion.
