You must submit a project proposal and have it approved. The process is
described below.
- Email me a one paragraphs or two, describing your proposed project.
(Due Friday, Feb. 10
by 11:59pm)
- If the proposal is approved, go to step 3. Otherwise, go back to step 1.
- Write and submit a short proposal (about 2-4 pages) that provides
detailed information pertinent to your project (10%). (Due 11:59pm on Feb. 25 Saturday )
- Conduct your research project.
- Write and submit an intermediate report that summarizes what you have
done one month after the due date of proposal (5%).(2 pages in IEEE 2-column format, Due on Wednesday, March 21 in class
)
- Write a technical report describing the project and the experimental
results (20%). (Due
Monday, May 7 by 11:59pm)
- Group presentation (5%). (May 9 )
Note that the
proposal, the intermediate report, and the final paper must
be formatted in the standard in 2-column IEEE proceedings
format.
