Stuart Henry, B.A. Ph.D. is Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University. He joined San Diego State in August 2006 after serving seven years at Wayne State University in Detroit, initially as the Director of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program and Associate Dean of the College of Lifelong Learning, and latterly as Chair of the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Dr. Henry was formerly Professor of Sociology and Criminology for 11 years (1987-1998), at Eastern Michigan University and from 1998-99 was Chair of the Department of Sociology at Valparaiso University. Dr. Henry is an active and energetic researcher, author and editor. His research has been funded by the British Economic and Social Science Research Council, the U.S. Federal Management Agency and the National Science Foundation. He has authored or edited 23 books and over 100 professional journal articles on the topics of criminological theory, deviant behavior, law and society and occupational crime. He serves on the editorial board of Critical Criminology and Theoretical Criminology, and is a member of the Board of the Association for Integrative Studies.

Nancy is the Instructional Support Assistant for the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University.  She is a member of NASPA, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, and a member of NACADA, the National Academic Advising Association. She is a proud alumna of SDSU.  In 2002 she earned a Bachelors degree in Public Administration with distinction in the major.  Nancy is perusing a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Postsecondary Educational Leadership and a specialization in Student Affairs.  This program will provide her with the knowledge to better assists and support the students of SDSU.

Cecilia is the Administrative Coordinator for the School of Public Affairs. Her job duties primarily support the SPA faculty, including but not limited to: contracts, class scheduling, budget analysis and processing and web maintenance. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002 with a major in Art History and minor in Ethnic Studies and received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy recently. She has two cats, Sir Leo the Great and Sir Lucky the Brave; and likes to lounge around in her jammies wasting away her time watching movies.

Julie is currently the Administrative Assistant for the School of Public Affairs.  Her work hours are: Mon and Tuesday 8:00-1:30pm, Wednesday 8:00-Noon and Thursday 8-1:00pm. Her job duties are primarily Faculty Support, Faculty Recruitment, Creating advertisements for special events and word processing.  In addition to working at San Diego State University I am a native San Diegan, married to Vincent Quinn since 1988 and have two daughters, Kellie and Fairleigh. My hobbies include cooking, entertaining and traveling.
