A Comparative Chronology of Key Events for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico and Nicaragua.

The purpose of this project is to provide a chronology of the key events that helped shape the history of Latin America and situate the films studied in Communication and Culture 110 in their historical context. In order to get a greater understanding of the events depicted in these films, it is important to become familiar with the surrounding events that influenced their making. These countries were chosen because of the particular emphasis afforded to them within the course and because of the wealth of films in which they are portrayed.
