Module 1: General Overview
- The learner will be able to identify the several components of the Parcel Manager system. (Concept)
- Three steps in the delivery process: delivery, log and distribution. (concept)
- Two types of files: program and data. (fact)
- Information contained in the data files: name, mailbox number, email, courier, date of arrival, and distribution date. (fact)
Module 2: Logging Packages
- The learner will be able to log a package, such that the correct student is notified via email. (process)
- Scan package so that tracking number is entered in the system. (procedure)
- Enter student name after package has been scanned, such that the corresponding mail box number and email address is accessed. (procedure)
- Complete log of package and click “Add Parcel", such that an email notification is then sent to the correct student’s email address. (procedure)
Module 3: Delivering Packages
- The learner will be able to distribute a package, such that the correct student receives the package and a complete log of the transaction is recorded in the Parcel Manager system. (process)
- Check student’s identification to verify identity. (procedure)
- Look up package in the system, such that package can be located in package room. (procedure)
- Complete distribution, such that a log of the transaction contains the student's signature. (procedure)
