SPORTS MBA HOME PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS CASE COMPETITION IN THE CLASSROOM PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PADRES REQUEST INFORMATION REGISTER FOR AN INFO SESSION COLLEGE OF BUSINESS HOME	Sports Business Management M.B.A. Graduation 2010 The 34 students completing their studies in SDSU’s Sports Business Management M.B.A. program walked across a stage set up at PETCO Park as their families and friends watched from the stands. The park’s JumboTron featured a pre-recorded video of each student stating their name and hometown as they crossed the stage to receive their diploma. San Diego Padres president and CEO, Tom Garfinkel, was the keynote speaker and he reminded each student that if they remained true to their calling and worked hard within the sports industry, success would eventually find them. Melanie Harris was named valedictorian of the class of 2010 and Mike Kitts (07, SMBA) was honored with this year’s Outstanding Sports M.B.A. Alumni Award. Dr. Jim Lackritz was named the Outstanding Faculty Member as voted by the students.
