PROGRAM DETAILS

Program Dates

  • Arrival in Shanghai: Friday, May 25, 2012 (Local time in China)

  • Departure from Shanghai: Saturday, June 16, 2012 (Local time in China)


Program Cost: $2,074

  • $500 due with application on or before March 15, 2012
  • $344 due April 2, 2012
  • $1,230 tuition due with course registration April 15-20, 2012


Shanghai Summer Program features and activities include:

  • Lectures by SDSU professors on Chinese history, society and business practices.
  • Guest lectures by Chinese scholars on business development and Chinese culture (e.g. calligraphy, Taichi etc.)
  • All lectures taught in English.
  • Field visits to business enterprises, historical sites and attractions
  • Hosted by the East China Normal University, one of the best universities in China
  • Program cost subsidized by grants from the US Department of Education and SDSU.
  • Open to both SDSU students and members of the general community.
  • SDSU students may apply the Associated Students Study-abroad scholarship to the program.

  • Plan your own trips to Beijing, Xi’an, and other exciting places in China!
