HOMEJoin us for the exciting China Summer Program in Shanghai! Learn about Chinese history, culture and business practices in an exciting three-week program taught in English by SDSU professors and scholars from China. The Chinese Summer Program in Shanghai is jointly sponsored by the new Chinese Studies and Language Program in Asian Studies, the Confucius Institute and the College of Extended Studies at SDSU. It is partially supported by a Title VI grant from the US Department of Education and by the SDSU Office of International Programs. The 2010 China Summer Program in Shanghai is a 3-week program from May 27, 2010 to June 18, 2010. The program will intermix lectures by SDSU professors and Chinese scholars with field visits to local historical sites, high-tech parks and business enterprises. No Chinese language is required. Students earn 3 units toward GE or Asian Studies requirements, or study-abroad credits toward other majors. Students are also encouraged to apply for the SDSU AS Study-abroad scholarship.
