If anyone is interested in doing your volunteering at Mama's Kitchen
they need a.m. help M-F loading bags 9am-11am.

1. You must wear a hat or hair-net.
2. It is located at 1875 2nd Ave, San Diego CA 9210. In the basement
of a church.
There is parking in the church parking lot.
3. You probably have to sign an injury waiver.

5. Mama's kitchen delivers 3 meals/day to 350-400 men, women, and
children affected by AIDS in San Diego. Almost 1/2 the clients are
Hispanic and African American which are the two communities with the
fastest growth rate of new HIV infection.

-Nutritionist/Program Coordinator, Imperial Beach Health Center-

Position Status: Part-time (15 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: Starts at $23.00/hour

The Imperial Beach Health Center is looking for a Registered Dietitian who will coordinate its Child Obesity Program. The Coordinator will be responsible to implement, evaluate and perfect the program. Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetic Science and be a Registered Dietitian in the State of California. Minimum of two years experience in nutrition counseling, working with children a plus.

Part Time, diet clerk positions at Sharp Coronado Hospital.

Nutrition Services department in an acute care, transitional care, and long term care hospital. It is a great place to work and a wonderful place for 3rd, 4th year students to get hospital experience. Responsibilities include: verifies tray line; obtains patient menus based on diet order; verifies patient menu to assigned diet; nutrition screenings; and other duties. Shift times are 6AM-2:30 or 9:30AM-6PM. They are looking to hire ASAP.

Every March the ADA has National Nutrition Month. The San Diego Nutrition Council sets up displays of the ADA theme of the year in various libraries around the county.
