ADA Foundation Scholarships are available for the 2007-2008 academic year.  For the 2006-2007 academic year 211 scholarships were awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $3000. The number and dollar amounts vary from year to year based on total donations to the ADA Foundation.

All scholarships require ADA membership. Some scholarships require specific dietetics practice group membership, and/or residency in a specific state; some are earmarked for underrepresented groups. The same application form is used for all available scholarships. To be eligible, the applicant must be enrolled in the program a minimum of 4 months during the academic year August 2007 to July 2008. Scholarships are available for graduate students, dietetic interns and for DPD students.
