WILDFIRE 2007
As you may already know, campus is closed this entire week, therefore
this Friday's AB Samahan meeting has been cancelled as well.
In regards to the fire, to anyone who has been directly or emotionally
affected by the wild fires, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Please be safe, stay indoors.
Andres Bonifiacio Samahan would also like the give our thanks and gratitude to all the Fire-Fighters and those others involved in battling these terrible fires. We hope that you stay safe in battling these blazes, and we are truly grateful.

TOMORROW (Oct. 19) is the last day to purchase your FRIENDSHIP GAMES package for $45. Try to get them quick because we LEAVE TOMORROW EVENING!!! So you still have one last chance!!!
One more thing! Since HOMECOMING PEP RALLY is tomorrow during our usual meeting time, we all decided to attend the pep rally and then have a SHORT, SWEET MEETING afterwards around 1pm by the TROLLEY STATION (grass area).

PRE-FRIENDSHIP GAMES UPDATE, AGAIN!
Your sports and recreation coordinator, Miss Kim Conocono, has set up a PRE-FRIENDSHIP GAMES this Saturday, October 13 @ 11am @ SOUTH MISSION BEACH . This is a preview of what the real Friendship Games will be! Other schools from San DIego will be there also. Yay Friendship! One more thing ... this is the last week to buy the Friendship Games package for $40! Next week it will be $45. Buy them quick!

Homecoming Week is coming up! Please check the calendar for all of the events going on during Homecoming Week, and please stop by the office to sign up for those events, or you can also sign up at the meeting! After the GBM today, there will be a homecoming meeting. We will also be making some props! Doesn't that sound so fun! yay!

KUYA/ATE/ADING night is TOMORROW, FRIDAY OCTOBER 5 @ TULA HALL ... it will start approximately @ 6:30pm. There will be food and drinks, so come hungry! I hope all the adings will be able to make it ... if not, you will leave a kuya/ate very sad =*[
FRIENDSHIP GAMES UPDATE!
Who likes FRIENDSHIP? Who likes playing GAMES? Who likes FRIENDSHIP GAMES!!!! For those of you lovely samahan members interested in going to Friendship Games, please sign up at the samahan office or even at the meeting tomorrow! Samahan will be there from October 19-21. It is $40 (which includes a t-shirt, registration, & hotel fee) what a deal! But for those procrastinators out there, it will be $45 the week of Friendship Games!
FILIPINO-AMERICAN FESTIVAL!
Got any plans on October 6? Well... I got some plans for YOU! FilAm Fest is coming to you in Paradise Hills, located @ Paradise Valley Road. Come and get some delicious Filipino Food. The members of Samahan will be performing a hip hop dance routine @ 1pm and the group After School Special will be performing @ 4:00

So who wants to be at Qualcomm Stadium when the Chargers play against the Raiders on Sunday, October 14, 2007?? Well here's your chance to be there LIVE in ACTION and help AB Samahan fundraise at the same time... because you can have FUN while FUNdraising (see the word is in there, haha)!!! Anyways we need as many of you to come out and help us raise money for the organization so we can make our events BIGGER and BETTER without having to worry about money. As I said in the first meeting, there is an incentive and you'll have to come and find out, really! So please, if you can help us volunteer that day, it would be AWESOME!!! It's also a great way to bond with your new Kuya/Ate/Ading and meet new people right before Friendship Games, who's EXCITED... I AM!!! For those of you who are still interested in picking up an ading, or want to have 2 adings, your opportunity has arrived! We have about 25+ adings who are looking to find a kuya/ate to guide them through their first years or college and even longer than that. Well, to attend, you must fill out a Friendship Games Participation Form , which you all can find at the Samahan Office. Forms are located in Kim's box. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE only turn in your money to an officer. One more thing ... voting has started for T-SHIRT DESIGNS! I hope that everyone will come and vote, because this shirt will represent Samahan.
