After many, MANY years of pursuing a higher education, I finally find myself enrolled in the Educational Technology Gradute Program at SDSU. With the support of my loving wife, friends, and family, I have been able to realize my potential and continue in my quest for education.
Prior to gaining admittance to SDSU, I served nearly ten years in the US Navy. During that time I was fortunate enough to travel around the world and visit places such as Bali, Australia, Thailand, India, Pago Pago, Tonga, Sri Lanka, to name just a few. I have seen the green flash over the horizon and I know all too well that a red sky in the morning really DOES mean sailors should take warning! My primary function while enrolled in the Navy involved the operation and maintenance of Naval Weapons Systems, specifically the MK-92 Fire Control System. The last four years of my time with the Navy I served as an Instructor for the Center for Surface Combat Systems located here in San Diego, CA. During this time I completed my Master Training Specialist qualification and honed both my instructional delivery and curriculum development skills. My time as an instructor fueled the fire which led me to enrolling in the EDTEC program.
