色色趴之Spring Love

Hello everyone,

Our annual clubbing event is here! The theme for this year's 色色趴 is Spring Love.
Like no others clubbing event, we will have Beauty Contest and White Valentine's Drinking Competition. Winners will be given secret prizes. The clubbing event will be held at Golden City Restaurant. But no, it will not be a restaurant on the Spring Love night. It will be an amazing clubbing place with spring colors. That being said, the dressing code will require those who are attending to wear anything with colors white, pink, and purple semi-formally. We will also have DJ playing music and a dance floor for everyone. Pre-sale ticket comes with a free bottle of beer. Other alcohols will be sold for: $3.50(beer) and $5.50(shot). We will be checking ID's. For those for are underage, we will provide non-alcoholic drinks as well.

Welcome Back to School Activity

Hello everyone,

For many of you, a new semester has just started with challenges awaiting to come. But for ALL of you, TWSA is back in hosting events and activities for giving you a more exciting social experience.

Our very first event of the semester is the Welcome Back to School Activity. We will first introduce our newly-joined Event Coordinator - Ben Wu and reintroduce the officers to new members. Follow by the guessing games, we will be awarding small prizes including gift cards and free/discounted clubbing admissions to final winners. Throughout the activity, we will also be available to answer any question whether it is about TWSA or the (school) life at San Diego; do not ever hesitate to give us any suggestion as well.

Welcome Back to School Activity will be hosted at Tea N More (right next to Ranch 99) on the 5th of February from 2pm to 4pm. Admission is $5 per person which comes with a free drink of your choice choosing from the following selected drinks: 1. Milk Tea 2. Green Tea 3. Black Tea. Please be advised that it is necessary to choose your drink BEFORE the actual day of the event, because we will need to prepare the drinks in advance. Therefore, please let us know your choice of drink when signing up; you can state it at our Facebook Event page as well. (Note: Any other food/drink can be purchased at the store.)

Bonfire-End of Semester Event

Hello guys,

It is almost the end of semester. After thanksgiving break, finals will be coming up sooner than you think they will. But before getting ready to fight the finals, TWSA would like to invite all of you to join us for a relaxing bonfire as a closing event for Fall semester 2009.

The event will take place at Mission Bay on December 18th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Admission is $10 per person. We will provide foods (giant pizza, chips, hot drinks, marshmallows, etc.) and entertainment.

53rd Annual International Peace Village

The Annual International Peace Village is representing over 40 countries, in which it aims to promote friendship and communication between individuals of various nationalities and cultures. It is taking place at Montezuma Hall tomorrow, and TWSA is one of the participating cultural organizations. There will be many interesting activities (cultural performance, food tasting, etc.) for you to experience. Join us for a fun and memorable day.

Coffee Hour at ISC

TWSA's annual Coffee Hour is coming up next Friday (10/23) at ISC at noon (12pm).
We will provide Taiwanese foods and entertainment for everyone.
It is our pleasure for you to come join us.

10月的中秋烤肉活動開始報名囉!

這次有團體活動積分賽 (水球, 打西瓜, 兩人三腳等等),
分組進行比賽, 且同學們將與幹部們來一場公平競賽.
除了好玩的活動遊戲之外, 我們還有"不同口味的"手工月餅請大家品嘗.
請大家熱情參予, 讓TWSA團員團圓 !

2009 迎新活動 Welcome Party

Hello 大家好,

迎新活動開始報名囉! 歡迎大家踴躍參予!

我們將會先在學校跟TWSA新生舊生互動玩遊戲.
活動內包誇了有小組及團體活動來拉近彼此距離.
這是一個非常好的機會讓Officers認識大家,
也讓大家認識其他新朋友喔.

接著會到金城餐館(Golden City Restaurant)用餐.
凡是留下姓名聯絡方式Info等等的人,
我們會免費發送TWSA會員卡 (價值$3).
持有會員卡將會擁有在SD許多餐館的打折福利.
當天還會有抽獎附贈 Starbucks Gift Cards 等等.

Officers及一些舊生會負責從學校到金城餐館的接送.
