Homework Questions

My intention is to spend any class time available for question-and-answer on either these problems or offering hints on the graded written problems, in the interest of serving the greatest good of the class as a whole.

As stated in the syllabus, sometimes I may direct certain types of questions to office hours rather than spending scarce class time on them. However, this is not meant to imply that I dislike questions, or don’t want them. Sometimes such dialogue can be illuminating.

Homework Help

  • Math Department tutoring
  • MESA Engineering Program tutoring
  • online tutoring that comes with purchase of the text at www.StewartCalculus.com
  • the CDs that came with the textbook
  • my office hours in GMCS 524:
    • Monday & Wednesday 9:25 AM - 9:50 AM
    • Tuesday & Thursday 12 noon - 1:30 PM or to 2 PM if a student is there
    • Friday 2 PM - 3 PM
    • and maybe an extra hour or two as the course winds down, TBA

Grading Structure
