• Printing Rick's Notes
First and foremost. Remember that these notes were designed to facilitate my lectures. They are not a study guide or a textbook. You are welcome to these notes.
I make no guarantees. You are not required to download, print or even read them.
    • My notes are written in HTML.
    • HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
    • Hyper text is ideal for creating dynamic pages with lots of links.
    • HTML is the language of the internet.
    • Every web page that you open is written in HTML.
    • While HTML looks pretty good on the screen, It does not have some things like pagination that make for easy printing.
    • My notes use large fonts so that students can see them from the back of the room. I use an HTML tool called a "Cascading Style Steet" to make formating easier for me. Unfortunately, that same tool makes it more dufficult for you to "unformat" the text.
    • The good news is that many programs can read & reformat HTML.
    • So there are probably a dozen ways to print the notes. I will give four methods.
    • Read the advantages and disadvantages and click on the method of your choice
    • I'd like to hear from you if you have a cool technique.
