Pools and Spas
	As many of you know, I spend some of my non-academic hours as a consultant in the pool and spa industry. I was president and general manager of Padre Pools for over 22 years. In that time I built between 1500 and 2000 pools. Please email me to retain my professional services
My present activities include:
Pool Forensics	I do investigations, analysis, cost of repair, expert testimony and  other work for attorneys involved in civil cases. I have been qualified as an expert in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Colorado, Hawaii and New Jersey.
Pool Inspections	Home buyers retain me to examine pools at homes that they are buying. I do a very thouough analysis and perpare a list of action items.
CSLB Investigation	Consumers file pool or spa related complaints with the Contractors State License Board. The Board hires me as an industry expert to investigate, report and testify at arbitrations and trials. I have investigates over 130 complaints.
Pool Design	Since I won several awards for design, some folks hire me to come up with the best plan for thier site. Trick sites with slopes are my specialty.
Pool Construction Supervision	I assist clients with preparing bid specifications for pool remodels or new construction. At the clients request, I come on site and supervise subcontractor activity.
