In addition to the audiotapes which the FBI collected in Jonestown and those which the Federal Communications Commission collected during its investigation of Peoples Temple in the spring of 1978, this website has collected numerous other tapes and audio files – or in some cases, only the transcripts of long-since lost tapes – from other sources, both governmental and private. The tapes are arranged chronologically below, with source information added. The music of He’s Able (1973), the album recorded by the Peoples Temple choir, may be found online here, listed by song title in the third paragraph.
