The course objective is to introduce you to the Method of Economic Analysis.
We will rely on a blend of historical, institutional, and theoretical analysis. Our text is: R. Hubbard & A. O'Brian, Economics.
Our course outline is designed to provide organization for the class and will be your guide this semester.
Readings
from various newspapers, journals, books, periodicals,'think tanks' on my web site will also be assigned and can be accessed at the course outline.
A familiarity with this material will provide you with a source of analysis to update your understanding of important economic trends.
Our class time will be devoted to lectures, workshops, discussion sessions, video presentations, quizzes, and exams. This time is a very important component of the course. Your class 'attendance' and your class 'participation'
are encouraged. A thorough reading of my
" Guidelines for Active Learning and Cooperation in Our Classroom " is strongly recommended and it's also suggested that you follow these guidelines very closely while attending our class.
I have attempted to design this course to meet your needs and I'm looking forward to working with you this semester.

'student-student' discussion of course materials, videos, readings, class notes, etc..., and provide 'student-student' support in general. I believe this network will work for you and allow me to better assist your learning.
