Sixth Statistical Careers Day San Diego State University April 30, 2005 |
The career fair provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the many
career options in statistics. You will have the opportunity to speak
informally with representatives from academic, biotech, computer, defense,
government, marketing, and pharmaceutical organizations from the
San Diego area. Some of these companies have current job openings!
Anyone with an interest in statistics is welcome.
If you wish to be an exihibitor at the event, please read our invitation below.

The exhibitors so far are, in alphabetical order:

You are cordially invited to participate as an exhibitor in the Sixth Annual Statistical Careers Day to be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005, at San Diego State University. This year we are honored to have Dr. Hal Stern of the University of California, Irvine, as our guest speaker. Our past Careers Days have been a great success: over 100 high school, undergraduate and graduate students, from San Diego County, and Los Angles and Nevada areas, attended each year. Their polled responses were overwhelmingly positive!
SDASA Careers Day is free to exhibitors. This event is designed to attract promising students to the field of statistics and to provide an opportunity for students to meet with corporate representatives to discuss job opportunities and university faculty to discuss graduate study. This is an opportunity to fill current positions and make contact with future statisticians.
If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor, have any questions or need further information, please contact Cleridy Lennert-Cody at (858) 546-7190
Sincerely,
Dr. Cleridy Lennert-Cody and Dr. Rich Levine
