about the diverse, interesting and lucrative job possibilities in statistics!

This career fair provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the
many career options in statistics. In the morning, you will learn about
the field of statistics from the featured speaker. Then our panel of
local statisticians will discuss what it's like to be a statistician
in each of their diverse fields. After lunch, you will have the
opportunity to speak informally with representatives from academic, biotech,
computer, defense, government, marketing, and pharmaceutical organizations
from the San Diego area. Some of these companies have current job openings!
Anyone with an interest in statistics is welcome.
