What you need:

1. A violin, case & bow at the appropriate size (can be found at used/new violin shops or online)
2. Rosin
3. Music stand
4. Chair with a straight back (and appropriate size so the child can place both feet on the ground.
5. A quiet space (room)
6. Recording device to record lessons and practices
7. Chin rests or shoulder pad (if needed)
8. Find a patient violin instructor who will give your child a positive introduction.
