Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz or faster (Core duo can be substituted for low-end workstations) Memory: 1 GB RAM Video Ram: 256 MB or more Graphics Board: PCI interface with VGA adapter, PCI Express 16x minimum compliant and capable of supporting at least 1280 X 1024 resolution. NIC: 10/100 BASE-T, wake-up on LAN (Ref. brands: Intel and 3com) Hard Drive: 120 GB Optical Drive: If writing to optical media is not needed then a standard DVD drive will be sufficient. Write-able: 1.44 MB Floppy Drive; ; External ZIP drive with USB interface [optional]. USB: At least two (2) front panel ports required; four ports or more recommended. System Form Factor: All windows desktop and tower systems will conform to the ATX or mATX (provided it meets the other minimum specifications) form factor specification for system boards (motherboards), cases and power supplies. Main System Board: Must conform to MWSSLS specification Monitor: 17" LCD Display or larger conforming to MWSSLS specifications Keyboard: USB Mouse Optical: Optical (USB recommended, wheel mouse recommended) Surge Protector: Capable of EMI/RFI filtering with at least 6 outlets Extended Warranty: Covering parts and labor for 3 years PC Locking System: The locking system should provide a quickly assembled, strong form of protection for the CPU case and monitor. The locking system should attach to the CPU case, the monitor, other peripherals and the desk or workstation. The locking system should contain some of the following:
- Vinyl coated steel cable 3/16 inch diameter and at least 3 feet long.
- A case hardened padlock with one inch to one and a fourth (1-1/4) inch shackle.
- Security plates and adhesive as necessary.
- Screw on brackets that attach to an existing screw hole on the CPU case as necessary.
