Academic Affairs Update
All software license renewals that were in process have now been completed.IT Security Update
The IT Security Plan has been adopted by the President’s Cabinet. In the next few weeks, the security plan should be online. Several appendices were removed from the document and made as separate documents. There will be links to these documents in the IT Security Plan.Felecia noted that up to this point, the Projects on campus have not been involved in the Security Plan effort. There is currently two parallel efforts going on, one from the SDSU Research Foundation, and one at the College level to identify the Projects. Over a period of time, all the project will brought into the security plan.

The Identity Management Program is still in progress with estimated an completion date of December/January.The Email/Calendaring project received clearance to proceed wih gmail and calendaring. The committee can now consult with Google on their remaining concerns, one data storage (limited size of attachments). The IDM must be in place before the email project can be completed. Still to be determined is the rollout of the email/calendaring migration - whether to do one at a time or roll them out simultaneously.
