Identity Management Project
This project is now testing with small groups with a possible August implementation. The same account structure as Mirapoint’s Mail and Meeting Maker accounts.

Counterspy
Bob Newhouse is obtaining a quote for Counterspy to extend it until the McAfee contract ends on November 10th. He will bring the quote to the next IT Managers meeting. It was noted the committee for Antivirus and spyware software won’t meet until January 2010.

Log Management
Waiting on the committee’s report. This was tabled until our next meeting.

Camtasia
Volume purchase of Camtasia was tabled until September, as we need more solid numbers to proceed. Discussion noted that Wink is available for free and there is some use of Captiva on campus.

Patch Management
Not moving ahead as the product install was not completed properly. Hoping for better news by the end of the month.

Survey Monkey
Committee would like to explore a site license or volume purchase for the campus, but will need to gage interest.

HiSoftware
The HiSoftware contract ends this year. Plans are to have an RFP go out in the Fall. It was mentioned that the Chancellor’s Office may not go with a single product. If so, this will alter the amount the sharing campus will need to support.

Next meeting will be August 20, 2009.
