A committee needs to be established to look at antivirus and antispyware software. The committee should determine what products are currently available and if there is enough incentive to change software or recommend remaining with McAfee. Suites which come with both antivirus and antispyware should be considered. PC’s, Macs, Linux and Solaris machines all utilize this software, however, the focus should be on PC’s and Macs. Email Diana Osborn if you’re interested in being on this committee. The Counter Spy contract is up in October with the antivirus and antispyware contracts being up the following October. Counter Spy could be renewed for 17 cents a copy for another year, making all products on the same timetable.
