McAfee Update
.dat files are on ROHAN. Testing instructions now.

Wareforce Update (newest Microsoft products)
Celia sent out email yesterday with details. You can buy from them but do not have to. (ASAP is another vendor but sells only Microsoft products.) Office XP will be available for pre-ordering at the end of May. Celia advises a pre-order because Wareforce takes so long to ship. Be sure to specify "key-less" in your order.

FileMaker
Contract expires Dec. 2001. Current users should expect a survey from Celia.

Xwin32
Celia will prepare a proposal for Academic Affairs for group licensing to get a better rate.

Calendar Committee
CSU contract, not SDSU, and has been renewed for 1 year through June 2002. Celia will forward the cost as soon as it is known.

Other calendaring vendors want to present their products. It was decided that the Calendaring Committee would meet to draw up a RFP with the requirements needed by campus units. Some vendors may rule themselves out after seeing the RFP.

Adobe Acrobat
With bulk pricing, could get Adobe Acrobat for $21/copy if the campus could use 500 copies. Each college/division needs to send to Diana the number of copies they would want to buy.

Novell Contract Update
No new info, but Diana will check to see if it includes NFS Gateway and/or NFS Services.

CBT update
Diana will send in the campus numbers on Monday, May 21. So before then, give your input about which courses you would request at http://shannara.sdsu.edu/~diana/
