McAfee Update
Program files have been copied to rohan. Access at present is via ftp with the username and password given to data coordinators. Work is still being done to provide an automatic program update path that doesn't require touching every workstation.

This company is offering a site license of their Instructor program for approx $2500 for all faculty and staff. Full working version, 30 day expiration was given to Jim Edwards (ITS) to make copies for anyone who wishs to evaluate it.

Adobe Acrobat
Site Licensing Pricing for Adobe Acrobat is available at the following pricing: 500-999 $21 ea, 1000-2499 $17 ea, 2500+ $12. The breakpoints for cost effectiveness: 810 copies at $21 ea, cost is the same as 1000 copies, 1882 copies at $17 ea, cost is the same as 2500 copies. Preliminary numbers provided indicate a strong interest. Central Stores is willing to coordinate a PO for purchase by the individual departments. Decision on what the closing date for placing this order needs to be determined. Tentative suggestion was that it be coordinated to occur no later than August.

Novell Contract Update
Numbers have been forwarded for contract renewal.

CBT update
The new set of CBT courses have been received. The stand-alone versions are available for copy (bring your own blank CD) from ITS. The web version has been passed to UCO, deployment time frame is unknown at this point.

BATS classes
Carol Tohsaku passed out flyers for the Summer schedule of BATS classes. Email information will follow. She is soliciting requests for new classes. Any suggestions should go to her.

OS10
Final campus numbers were sent to the Chancellor's Office.

FileMaker 5.5
Celia has the media available for checkout to those who have purchased the upgrade.

Microsoft products
eyless CD's still require a key. You should have received the key information via email. Contact Celia if you have any questions about this.
