McAfee Update
The dat files for McAfee on rohan are being updated 3 times per week automatically, with additional manual updates as necessary.

Lack of Wareforce Update
Prices for media and licenses are being emailed to Celia Chavez since the actual information is not being posted on ASAP's web site. She will forward the new information to the list as she receives it. No information as yet about the availability of the other products that were available from Wareforce, specifically Macromedia and Filemaker.

Xwin32
It appears that all current users of the Xwin32 product are from Academic Affairs. Further update will be made at the next meeting.

Calendar Committee
The committee met and determined that products should be looked at individually at this point since Business Affairs is renewing the MeetingMaker contract anyway and the campus portal committee has not made a decision on a portal.

Adobe Acrobat
Site Licensing Pricing for Adobe Acrobat is available at the following pricing: 500-999 $21 ea, 1000-2499 $17 ea, 2500+ $12. The breakpoints for cost effectiveness: 810 copies at $21 ea, cost is the same as 1000 copies, 1882 copies at $17 ea, cost is the same as 2500 copies. We need a number count to see if a license is viable.

Novell Contract Update
The current Novell contract expires in July 2001. The contract is based on a workstation count. We need information on workstation counts from each area.

Next MWSSLS meeting will be May 17, 2001 in AH-1120 at 10 a.m.
