FSMP
Mission Statement: The
mission of the FSMP is to nurture students’ abilities to learn, thus enhancing their success in college. Program
participants develop positive, supportive relationships with fellow
students, faculty, and staff, thus feeling more
connected to the university. This nationally recognized program
primarily serves first-time SDSU students by pairing them with a
successful peer mentor, a caring faculty mentor, and a program
of services designed to support their academic success.
