Why study in London?

The cultural and historical impact of London is dazzling, and even today this exciting city on the Thames River remains an intriguing milieu as well as an international center that has bestowed so much on the political and cultural growth of Europe and the world.

London is an exciting city in which to live and study. Among the world's most beautiful capitals, it is rich in art, music, theater and literary history. It is the seat of British government and the world's longest surviving monarchy.

More than 40 theaters provide unrivaled opportunities for students to experience live, professional productions. Four major symphony orchestras and two opera companies reside in London. For followers of contemporary music, London offers an unparalleled range of live rock and ethnic music performances. A wide variety of museums and galleries provide opportunities to view many of the world's artistic masterpieces.

London University alone has more than 50,000 students and many more are enrolled at other universities, colleges and specialized schools. Students will bring a more global perspective to their home campuses after experiencing the London Summer Program.
