I am Associate Professor at Department of Geography, San Diego State University. I am interested in a broad range of topics, including GIScience (e.g., spatial analysis, GeoComputation), landscape ecology, and complexity theory.

My current research projects focus on human- environment interactions, wildlife habitat conservation, relationships between landscape patterns and processes, quantitative methods in geographic and landscape research, and agent-based modeling methodology (CV).
