1.      Co-recipient, along with Dr. F.W. Kasch, principal  investigator, and Drs. W.H. Phillips, and W.D. Ross, of an  N.I.H. grant ($43,000), to study the exercise induced changes in habitually sedentary middle-aged males, 1966-67, and Grant Extension ($42,000) for 1968-69.

2.      Co-recipient with Dr. W.D. Ross, and Director of Anthropometric Training Project, and Office of Education grant ($12,400), for training students in the area of anthropometry and motor performance, 1966-67.

3.      Co-investigator, along with five others, in the Montreal Olympic Games Anthropological Project, 1976.  Preliminary funding ($24,000+) from Ministry of Education, The Government of Quebec.

4.      Co-recipient, with Tim Ackland, J.C. Mazza and W.D. Ross, of grants ($45,500+) from The Australian Sports Commission, The Western Australian Ministry of Sport and Recreation, the Exceed Sports Nutritionals Company and the Department of Human Movement Studies at the University of Western Australia, for the Kinanthropometry Aquatic Sports Project, 1990.

5.      Co-recipient, with P.R. Francis, P. Kolen, R. Simmons, of a grant ($80,000) from Ariel Life Systems, La Jolla, CA, for the Ariel Performance Analysis System, 1991.
