Study Abroad

All undergraduate and graduate Latin American Studies students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of study or work abroad opportunities. You may select a program that will develop your language skills, enrich your area studies knowledge, provide an opportunity for researching a thesis, work in an international internship, or some combination. Regardless of your motives, study and/or work abroad will provide you with new perspectives and greatly enhance your career opportunities.

The search for an appropriate program should begin with a visit to SDSU’s Global Crossroads, which is both a physical resource located in the International Student Center, and an online resource.
