Students from Anthropology, Latin American Studies, Public Health, and History have participated in research projects that focused on the use of lead based glazes in ceramic production, consumer demand for the lead glazed ware, diet and nutrition, physician understandings of health maladies in the community, female entrepreneurship, and history making.
