Lower Division Competency #4:

document experience in a variety of movement forms and fitness activities.

1 Students complete selected Movement Proficiency Exams.
2 Kines 20 and 2 units of required KAC courses. Physical performance tests, and written tests on basic principles, techniques, etc.
3 Students complete a variety of activity courses; participated in sports and athletics, recreational activities, fitness programs resume, check-list, transcript
4 Students provide evidence of "B" or better in physical activity courses.
5 Students provide evidence of certification in at least one area.
6 Students participate in courses designed toward movement experiences. Assessment is through a peer assessment systematic observation model where students evaluate performance using an instrument.
7 Students will lead peers in fitness or movement experiences (aerobics class, peer teaches, etc.)
8 Students construct a chronology of your experiences in movement forms and fitness activities, from as early as you can remember to the present.
9 Students combine video clips of your performance in 10 different movement forms and fitness activities.
10 an entering interview by prospective PETE majors
11 Students develop a portfolio that includes a biography of one's past experiences (and self- ratings) of movement forms and fitness activities
