Students entering the upper division Kinesiology degree program should:

document experience in a variety of motor skill and fitness activities.

   1 Students must participate in courses that include movement activities (Physical Activity experiences) or participate the same outside of course work. Document experiences: transcripts, training logs, certificates, or proficiency tests.

 Example  1 Demonstrate knowledge and skills in selected Movement Proficiency Exams. Demonstrate proficiency of movements skills in the activities or courses in Kinesiology that require them. These may be used as prerequisites to specific courses, entry into the major, or entry into upper division.
 Example  2 Demonstrate proficiency in required activity courses. Document proficiency in physical performance tests, written tests on basic principles and techniques as verified by departmentally identified course work, portfolios, transcripts, or projects.
 Example  3 Demonstrate skill mastery in sports, athletics, recreational activities, and fitness programs. Document experience by resume, check-list, or transcript.
