San Diego State University I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. in the joint doctoral program at San Diego State University and University of California at San Diego. My area of research is in analytical chemistry, specifically non-linear spectroscopic methods. I am currently working on new ultra-sensitive detection methods for gas-phase analysis of environmental samples in an Inductively Coupled Plasma based on degenerate four-wave mixing. I am also studying the many applications of degenerate four-wave mixing as a sensitive analytical tool for biological samples. |
