Highlights:

Wake up to Jenn and Kelly singing.  The plan is to do snow school in the morning and rock-climbing in the afternoon but the snow is too hard.  We do trust exercises as we wait for the sun to soften up the snow.  Finally get onto the snow and learn how to walk: duck step, plunge step, diagonal step and troisième.  Over lunch we discuss what to do in the afternoon and decide to finish snow school.  Kelly's uncle is having surgery today and she decides to stay at camp during the afternoon.  We are all worried about her and miss her as we learn self-arrest and group rope travel, but she re-joins us at the end of the day.  Several people go rock-climbing while the rest of us have some downtime and make dinner (quesadillas).  We try to get to bed as early as possible, knowing that a big day is coming up.
