Nyzul Rules
The Nyzul Static will use a point system to determine drops. We put a lot of thought into making this fair for everyone, but if there are any problems please let us know.
- 1 Point for each successful run (completion of a set of 5 floors or boss farm).
- 1 Point for showing up to Nyzul Night on time.
- "On Time" is defined as:
- (By the 6:00PM PST meet time)
- 1. Being in the Nyzle Isle zone
- 2. Having the mission accepted from the assault office
- 3. Being on the appropriate job
- 4. Being geared up for that job
The reason behind this painstaking definition of timeliness is not to cause anyone undue grief. Rather, we want a mutual understanding between everyone that we value eachothers'
time. If you should be late at any time, it isn't a big deal, you just won't get the point for being on time. This may put someone else ahead of you for drops, but nobody will be
angry with you in the slightest. We want to make sure we reward the people who are ready on time and this is the only way we can think of to do that.
- Points may be bid on boss floor drops.
Boss drops will be determined prior to the start of the run. We will use an open bidding system. Those interested in a given drop will say in party chat how many points they are
willing to pay for that drop.
- 5 Points is the minimum bid for boss drops.
You must be able to equip the item on one of your jobs to bid on a boss drop.
- Points may be bid on NM drops.
This will be done AFTER the ??? item has been appraised. You do NOT have to gamble on whether the ??? will appraise into the NM drop.
Eligibility for NM drops requires you to be able to equip the item or be working on a job that can. There is no minimum bid.
- Weapons don't cost points
The job-specified Nyzul weapons do not cost points. Quite simply if you have the job to 75 (or are working on it), you may lot. We ask that you be courteous to those already at
75
- Freelot
Any item that nobody bids on or wants is said to be 'Freelot'. This means everyone may cast lots on the item if they choose to.
- The Muttonhed Rule
The Muttonhed Rule states that any time someone is absent from Nyzul, and we have a substitute attend in their place, that substitute is awarded points as though they were on-time
NO MATTER WHAT.Put simply, I don't feel that it is fair to anyone nice enough to be a sub for us that we still expect them to be ready to go at 6:00. If our subs attend
enough runs to be able to bid on something I want them to have the full point value they have earned.
- Quorum
Quorum rule deleted as static never really approved it.
- Rescheduled Runs
THIS RULE IS UNDER REVIEW UNTIL MAK, SKYE, GEO VOTE ON IT.
A rescheduled run will is non-point bearing if any static member is unable to attend. If and only if everyone is able to attend, the run will be point-bearing.
