JHSSD-Eileen S. Wingard Collection

This one box collection, which was donated by Eileen Wingard in February 2001, contains materials from the Music Committee of the 54th Street Jewish Community Center of San Diego, including: correspondence regarding Mrs. Wingard's accomplishments with the Music Committee of the JCC from 1972 to 1980; music and theater programs of events at the JCC from 1973-1989; along with detailed biographies of JCC honorees, such as Carl Sacks, Maestro David Amos, Dr. Robert Forman, Cantor Sheldon Merel, Dr. Harry Ruja, and others. Also contained in this collection are 5 scrapbooks of newspaper articles featuring the JCC Music Committee events; a guestbook from the JCC; and photographs of JCC events.
