JHSSD-Anti-Defamation League Collection

This one-box collection was gifted to the Jewish Historical Society of San Diego in 1999 by Dr. Lawrence Baron, Director of the Lipinsky Institute for Judaic Studies, who received it from Morris Casuto, director of the San Diego ADL. The collection gathers nearly 50 years of bulletins, newspaper articles, pamphlets, and other source materials into 59 folders, which cover various civil rights topics such as: Christian Anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, the Klu Klux Klan, Israel-Arab relations, the Blacks and Louis Farrakhan, the John Birch Society, and an extensive collection of ADL bulletins. It is a source for scholarly research into modern day social issues.
