Program Information : Career Information
ISCOR students have pursued a rich variety of careers in the public, private and non-profit sectors. These include a social worker for a refugee resettlement agency, an administrative coordinator at the National Conflict Resolution Center, an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Government, a diplomat for the U.S. State Department, a staff member for an environmental lobbying group, and a fundraiser for a humanitarian organization providing medical supplies. Many other students have gone on to study at graduate schools and law schools in the United States and abroad.
The diversity of these career paths illustrates the strength of SDSU's Bachelor of Arts degree in ISCOR. Our graduates gain a interdisciplinary knowledge of world affairs and the ability to apply this knowledge in the real world.
The ISCOR Faculty are happy to advise students in their career pursuits and discuss their own varied experiences in international affairs. Additionally, SDSU's Career Services office assists students with career planning and information.
