Outgoing Multiple-Degree StudentsWelcome to San Diego State University and the International Business Multiple-Degree Program. The Multiple-Degree Program is a dynamic transnational opportunity offered in the International Business Major for students seeking an extended period of foreign exchange that culminates in two or three degrees in International Business from San Diego State University and its Multiple-Degree partner institutions. The Multiple-Degree Program gives students an advantage over the regular International Business Program in that the experience abroad will be between one or two years instead of just a semester. This time abroad will help students establish a strong network of friends and future professional contacts from another (or multiple) country (or countries). Program participants will have a greater depth of understanding of the regional language and culture of the foreign country as a result of the extended time abroad. For more information & application procedures concerning the Multiple-Degree Program, please attend a Multiple-Degree Information Session. These sessions are offered during the last week of each semester, and your attendance at one of these is needed before scheduling an individual appointment with the Multiple-Degree Coordinator. Multiple-Degree Information Sessions:Information sessions will be offered during the last week of each semester in the International Business Program Conference Room (208 of the new Arts & Letters Building). These sessions will last approximately an hour, and will be a good opportunity for you to learn more about the Multiple-Degree Program, how to track your academic progression, determine when you would be studying abroad/graduating, and how to apply to the program. The next Multiple-Degree Information Sessions will be held:
Below, please find the appropriate Multiple-Degree curriculums for outgoing SDSU students. These are lists of predetermined courses, which are needed to obtain your foreign degree(s) and your SDSU-IB degree within the same amount of time most students obtain 1 undergraduate degree. All of the curriculums are divided into course selections of approximately 4-6 courses per semester. It is important that you follow the curriculum to the best of your ability in order to graduate from the Multiple-Degree Program in a timely manner. For further information and profiles concerning each participating foreign university, please refer to the “study abroad” menu and “outgoing exchange students” option under our IB homepage.
