Weekday breakfasts are included in the cost of accommodations.
All U.S. citizens must travel on a current passport. Applications and instructions are available on line at http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html, or at designated branches of the U.S. Postal Service.
Each person will be responsible for purchasing his or her own airfare to London. If the program is cancelled, the SDSU/College of Extended Studies does not take responsibility for airfare cancellation fees incurred due to a student's need to cancel a flight. Participants are highly encouraged to purchase tickets at STA Travel office on the SDSU campus because of their ability to offer flexible low cost airline tickets with nominal cancellation or date change fees. Evidence of adequate worldwide health and accident insurance coverage is required to participate.
You must have medical/accident insurance that will cover the expenses of serious illness or accident, the services of legally qualified doctors, surgeons, nurses, hospital stay, all required tests, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and emergency evacuation, and repatriation of remains. Your current carrier may cover some but not all of these required items. If you elect to use your own carrier you will be required to purchase a separate policy to obtain Emergency Medical Evacuation/ Repatriation coverage.
More information about insurance requirements will be provided upon acceptance into the program.
Participation in an international program that requires air travel and field trips involves risks, which may result in damage to property, injury to persons, and death. All participants will be required to sign a statement acknowledging these risks and releasing the State of California, the California State University system, SDSU, and its employees of all liability. These forms will be provided to all participants once accepted into the program.
