  • "The Economic Organisation of a POW Camp" , R.A. Radford (1945), Economica 12:48, p. 189-201
  • "Hiding in the Shadows: The Growth of the Underground Economy" by Friedrich Schneider and Dominik Este. Interesting article on the measurement and size of off-market economic activity. Not required reading, but interesting nonetheless.
  • "What's a Bank Run?" Good article on the history of bank runs, FDIC insurance, and how it relates to today's current financial mini-crisis.
  • "Bair Market" Another article on the current banking crisis, with more of a focus on the FDIC.

  • To be added as we move along the quarter!
