My name is Hisham Foad and I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at San Diego State University. I have also served as the director of the Center for Islamic and Arabic studies at SDSU since Fall 2012

My research focuses on the effects of monetary union, economic development in the Middle East, and how migrant networks affect economic interactions

• IMF Quota Shares Quota (in SDR and USD) and vote shares by country for the IMF, 2010 data.
• IMF Vote Share Map A map of voting shares in the IMF by country
• Worldwide Immigration Database Information on the relative concentration of immigrant groups in 28 developed countries. Cleaned up OECD dataset.
• Dataset used in "Swapping Print" Useful information on international newspaper trade and immigration.
• Bilateral Equity Holdings Database from the CPIS used in my papers looking at equity home bias.
